FROM PANIC TO PEACE IN ONE SESSION!

For 19-year old student Eric (not his real name for privacy), panic attacks were his day to day experience which he described this way: “I have a feeling of evil foreboding, I feel that I am dying or that something terrible is about to happen to me, it’s an overall fearful feeling of danger that I need to run and escape from, like running from death, or running from the fear of death.”

LIVING WITH PANIC
For Eric, life was like living in a dreaded nightmare: “I feel like there’s an evil, dark, menacing, bird of prey ghost-like shape coming out of walls and looming over my head threatening to kill me. Even in church he felt panic. “it's hard to focus because I feel anxious and panicked. In class I can’t focus or pay attention for the same reason. I’m afraid if I go anywhere I’ll have a panic attack and freak out, or that I’ll fall asleep because the mediation for the anxiety makes me really drowsy. These panic attacks are seriously getting in the way of my studies and my personal life.”

WHY ERIC REACHED OUT
Eric reached out to me after he was recommended to have an RTT session by his mother, who herself experienced a positive transformation in her own life through her one RTT Rapid Transformational Therapy session. In Eric’s online discovery session he said the panic attacks were making his life unbearable and the prescribed anti-anxiety medication was not helping, but rather making him feel drowsy, unable to focus on his classes and insomnia when trying to sleep at night. He said if he was off the anti-anxiety medication he’d feel more awake and present and not dread life. “

Eric described his desires: “to live each day feeling secure, safe and sound; to be present and calm with no need for medication; to feel relaxed in any social situation, socially, at church, with study; to connect and talk easily with anyone”. All these he said were increasingly unattainable because of the panic attacks. He longed to feel at peace, to be mindful, attentive, engrossed in his studies where he could enjoy taking daily actions towards being an outstanding focused student, and being confident, motivated and focused, instead of his thoughts being hijacked by fear, dread and panic.

IN-PERSON SESSION SCHEDULED
Eric said he wanted to to come in person ASAP for his RTT session with me so we scheduled a time. Even though Eric had never been hynotized before his RTT session, he was eager to immerse himself in hypnosis to get relief from his tormenting thoughts. He discovered that he was not only a good candidate for hypnosis because he was highly suggestible (suggestibility is the hallmark of being a good hypnosis participant), he also found out to his delight that immediately after his RTT session he felt the dark menacing cloud was gone and instead experienced a lightness, a peace and calm that flooded his mind and body. After arriving safely back home he texted “I already feel a difference. It kind of amazes me! “

AFTER-SESSION CHECK IN
It just kept getting better. With each follow-up email over the next few weeks Eric reported deep restful nights sleep, and a feeling of relief and freedom. He said he enjoyed listening each day, and sometimes several times a day to the bespoke recording Zelda made in the session to help him for the next 21 days on his transformational journey to freedom. He can again drive to college, focus on his classes, he is sleeping soundly, he no longer needs to take anti-anxiety medication that had unwanted side effects like insomnia, nausea, dizziness and he no longer panics at church or at class or in social situations. And best of all, he is back on track to be the outstanding student he wanted to be to get a good job in his chosen career.

ERIC’S PROGRESS UPDATES:

Week 1: “Overall I have been good, although I do have some episodes every day or so, but over time I notice them slowly getting better, and shorter lived. Thank you for everything! .”

Week 2: “I am doing great! Better than usual today even though ‘usual’ is very good now. I love listening to the recordings, in addition to at least once a day, I’ve started listening to it as needed which has been very helpful. In the last few days I have stopped the episodes before they happen once I noticed them coming on which has been a very good feeling. “

Week 3: I am doing well, im sleeping very well. The recording is great! Ive learned to take my thoughts captive before they take hold. 

SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME: Eric is now living each day just as he wanted: feeling secure, safe and sound, feeling present and calm with no need for medication, confident in his innate abilities, skills and talents.

CONCLUSION:

All it took was one single 180-minute RTT Session with Zelda Sheldon certified RTT Hypnotherapist to break free from the chains of panic and dread to find his peace and joy.
